Brief History of the Bank
The RURAL BANK OF CANDELARIA, INC. (RBCI) is a domestic corporation established and given SEC Certificate 16673 on 04 March 1960. It extended its corporate life for another 50 years on 15 March 2010. The Bangko Sentral Ng Pilipinas (BSP) issued to RBCI a Certificate of Authority to operate as a bank on 04 January 1960. The Bank was founded by Mrs. Soledad Lirio Dolor. She was the first Chairman and President of the Bank. The Lirio and Dolor families remain active in bank operations and management to this day.
